      Lydia Hill, daughter of John Hill (1711-?1797) and his second wife, Judith (born Leaper; died 1786) of London and later of Ackworth, Pontefract, Yorkshire, was born in London on 6 September 1754.(1) Her father became associated with Ackworth School in 1779 and later became the superintendant.(2) Lydia Hill became the second wife of Robert Lovell (1746?-1804), a pin manufacturer of Downend, Gloucestershire. There were 5 children.(3). Lydia Lovell of Hambrook, Gloucestershire, died on 30 September 1816, aged 62.(4) ______________________________ 1.
